Target Property Automated Selection

The automated target property selection allows you to set up your target campaigns very fast, such as A/B testing, Experience Targeting, Multivariate Testing, Recommendations or automated personalization. 

As you can see in the use case below, without automated target property selection you would need to know your target property details or would need to look them up for the setup of every target activity.

Use Case

We created an A/B test called "test - a/b" in Adobe Target to illustrate  automated property selection and its advantages. When "test - a/b" is opened, at "Overview - Properties" you see that the required target property for the digital lab called "Target-Digital-Lab" is selected automatically.

If you have implemented automated target property selection by ECS team once, you don´t have to consider the below process, which means effort every time you create a target activity.

 

Without automated target property selection, you would have to insert the implementation code (image on the left) into the "properties" section (image below) for each target activity you create. You would have to look up and copy the target property implementation code every time again. Otherwise you will not be able to save the A/B test.
